Today, Pastor Michael Hodge continues his series in Mark 7...today on
the topic of legalism. What is it? It's when man-made traditions are
made equal to God's word. In the days of Jesus, you couldn't carry a
scarf on the Sabbath. If you wanted to carry it, you had to put it on,
walk to where you wanted to move it to...and then take it off. Today,
however, we have legalisms as well that usurp the Word of God. Listen to
what Jesus says about legalism, and where we see that today that causes
us to sin when we do them.
