September 23, 2018: Paul's letter to Ephesus

This week, Pastor Hodge looks at Ephesians 1:1-2. In this book, we will look at where this grace and peace that we have comes from. First, to identify authority, Paul identifies himself as an apostle. What does that mean? Then he reveals who he is writing to, and ends with two behavioral qualities of God. What does this mean for us today? Listen and find out!

Mike from the Gideons came out today to do a presentation an update on what they have been doing in the area, including some of the challenges and successes they have had. If you wish to donate to the Gideons work in providing Bibles for those who don’t have one, and in hotels, please contact Dave Osland. In the meantime, you can listen to his presentation in the link provided.

Diane Lizer also did our children’s sermon this morning on the theme of apples.

November 25, 2018: We are brought near to God

This week, Pastor Michael Hodge expounds on the book of Ephesians chapter 2, verses 11 through 13. In the early church, there were those who struggled with circumcision, and no circumcision, along with the faith issue. Here, we are told the bad news, what people without faith were like. And we’re also told the good news, what people with faith are like. What is our challenge? Listen and find out!

We also had Amy Taylor do her children’s sermon on light. You can listen to both of these recordings, by cutting and pasting this link into your browser, here:

November 18, 2018: We are God's workmanship

This week, Pastor Hodge expounded on Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10, where we are seem as God‘s workmanship. Our introductory verses were Ephesians 2:8-9, where we are saved by faith, not by works. What is the root word that workmanship comes from? How are we God’s workmanship? Where is God‘s work in us prepared before hand? What should we do now? Listen to his sermon find out!

We also had Diane Lizer do her children sermon. We pray that you are blessed by both of these service elements. And you can hear both of those recordings by cutting and pasting this link into your browser:

November 11, 2018: You cannot work your way back to God

This week, Pastor Hodge expounds on the book of Ephesians, 2:7-9. We are reminded how God gave us a great gift; and that we do not earn our salvation. Finally, we see that faith is not a contribution to the gift of salvation in any way.

What are some of the pitfalls of the above? Listen at the link below by cutting and pasting it into your browser; and we also had our children sermon this morning recorded for you:

This week, Pastor Hodge expounded on John 11:30-46, and John 11:25-26. We learn that we are co-resurrected with Jesus, and Co-seated with Jesus if we have repented of our sins, trust and obey him, and walk with him in the Spirit. Listen to his sermon here:
