August 15, 2021: The controversial Jesus

This week, Pastor Hodge expounded on John 7:40-53. As Jesus revealed who He was, many misunderstood him. And that caused a great division. The officers didn't seize Jesus, because he was the Christ. But, the Pharisees rebuked them, saying he was not God. Nicodemus, however, wanted to hear Jesus, and wanted other Pharisees to give him a chance to present himself as to His divinity. August 8, 2021: In the midst of turmoil, the best is yet to come

This week, Pastor Hodge expounded on John 7:25-39. Here, we see that people didn't know what was being played out before their eyes: religious leaders seeking to kill Jesus, who didn't know He was the Christ, and He proclaims it....which causes the religious leaders to want to kill Him even more.
