May 12, 2019: Honoring our mothers, or the great value of our females

This week, we honored our mothers on this Mother's Day, and honored God first and foremost by exalting him, and showing how God tells us to love our mothers, wives and Christian women. We also see how mothers, fathers, and Christian adults are to be loving, and how they are to be honored. And, we must learn to honor them, and we see how in part in Ephesians 6:4.What is our challenge for this today? Listen and find out!

We also had Amy Taylor do our children's sermon, and Micah Fagerstrom did our special music. You can hear all of these things here:

May 5, 2019: There is only one body

This week, Pastor Hodge expounds on the book of Ephesians, 4:4-6. His sermon title is "There is only one body, or, the oneness of the church."

In this rather well-known passage, we look at how we are one body with one Spirit, one hope, one faith, one baptism with one Lord, and there is only one God of all. Listen to how this applies to us today.

We also have the Seldals do special music. We pray that you are blessed by both of these service elements. You can hear both of these elements by cutting and pasting this link into your Web browser:

April 28, 2019: The sufficiency and authority of Scripture

This week, while Pastor Hodge was away, Gilbert Sebenste preached on the sufficiency and the authority of Scripture. Too often in our churches today, the Bible has been demoted to either fables, or good suggestions. Let's look instead of what the Bible really says about itself, and from Whom and where it gets its authority from.

We also had Kaelynn Clark and Trey Burchell do our special music today, and Diane Lizer did our children's sermon today on trust. We hope you are blessed by these service elements.

April 21, 2019: Christ has risen!

The Easter message is timeless and important as it was over 2000 years ago. It is the linchpin of history, the linchpin to salvation, and why Christ, and Christ alone is the only way to God the Father. Why? Listen to Pastor Hodge's sermon, even if you've heard and know the Easter story.

Molly Blobaum's children sermon also was focused on the same Scriptures. We hope you are blessed by both, which you can listen to by cutting and pasting this link into your browser:

April 14, 2019: The weeping triumph

This week, Pastor Hodge focused on two groups of Scripture passages. In his sermon titled "The weeping triumph", we look at Mark chapter 11:1-10, and Luke 19:41-44. It first begins with an ancient prophecy, which is fulfilled in Jesus. What is this prophecy, and why does Jesus weep over Jerusalem? And what does that mean to us today? Listen and find out!

On this Palm Sunday, we also had two songs of special music, and Molly Blobaum's children's sermon. We hope you are blessed by both of these service elements.
