This week, Pastor Michael Hodge continues his series in the book of Ruth on recognizing the presence of God. After Naomi has gleaned the field and done a great job, Boaz shows hospitality and kindness to Ruth. He also instructs his workers, essentially, to leave her alone. Jesus has done the same for us! We also had special music today with the Fagerstroms and friends, and Molly Blobaum did her sermon on friends. Finally, we also had the Gideons to come and present to us how giving to them brings Bibles to hotels, those on the street, and those who realize what this world offers is nothing...and then see Jesus offers eternal life.
